Translations

From this page you will be able to access our resources (mainly factsheets and videos) which have been translated into the most commonly used non English speaking languages in West Sussex.

If you don’t see the resource that you need, please keep checking as we will be adding more as they become available.

Please note that the dates in brackets denote the time that the leaflet was translated. The leaflets that were translated in 2017 will still be helpful, but may refer to out of date terminology (e.g mention of statements being translated to EHC Plans). Whenever we commission the translation of leaflets, we find out what the top 5 non-English speaking languages in West Sussex are at that time. This information is given to us by the Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) at West Sussex County Council.

When you click on a language you will see dates. These show the approximate date the translations were written. If you are helping a parent and want to see the original English version that the translation was taken from, please refer to the appropriate date. You can access the English Versions here.
