At SENDIAS, one of our main aims is to empower parent carers and young people to move their situation forward themselves. This is done primarily by providing information and advice through our various resources, which include factsheets, guides, and webinars.
- Factsheets: generally 2-sided, explaining the basics of a subject.
- Guides: These look deeper into what the law and statutory guidance say about the subject or topic.
- Practical Guides: Think of these as booklets, but separated into different chapters, giving step-by-step guidance to help those working through certain processes themselves.
- Webinars: visual or audible guidance on our main topics.
- Translations: Some of our webinars and factsheets have been translated into the main languages used in West Sussex.

To print our resources:
- Our Factsheets will need to be downloaded first and can then be printed from there.
- Our Guides (and other webpages) can be printed by clicking on the Print Icon at the top left of the page. On a computer, where a page can be expanded click on the icon and then you can click on the arrows to show the information and then right-click on your mouse and ‘print’. Unfortunately, the print function does not currently work on a phone.
If you have additional needs and/or cannot find the information you seek within our resources, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
Please note: we will gradually be updating or adding more resources to our pages so do check in regularly.
